Looe Key Reef National Marine Sanctuary - Among the most beautiful wreck reefs in the Keys, Looe Key is named after the HMS Looe, a British frigate that ran aground in 1744—look for the anchor, as most of the ship has disintegrated. This marine sanctuary is home to a wide array of fish, coral, sea fans, turtles, rays, and a high concentration of spiny lobsters, which are protected here.
