Description

Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA -

Sugarloaf Key KOA is the closest KOA campground to Key West, at Mile Marker 20. Key West is just 14 miles away, a short drive up the Overseas Highway, or Route 1. The campground runs a free daily shuttle to Key West to make things easy for campers. There are sites for both tents and RVs, and they even have RV rentals. You can choose sites with 50 amp service or cable TV, which comes at no charge. Other amenities available at no charge are Modem datapart, swimming pool, hot tub, dog park, and floating water trampoline (see picture). There is full-service marina, where you can rent boats, go snorkeling, go for a tour, and rent bicycles. The Lazy Lizard Cafe is open for breakfast and then throughout the day.

Activities at Sugarloaf Key/Key West KOA are abundant. Try KOA Campfire Time, with toasted marshmallows, singalongs, and s'mores around the fire pit. The floating water trampoline offers swimmers some variety in the water, where they can climb up, slide down, jump around and have a great time. Or if you're in the mood for a more relaxing time in the water, head out for one of their floating pads and just take a nap in the sun. KOA supplies the toppings, whipped cream chocolate syrup, and of course the ice cream.
