traffic of all the Keys. There are many services and dive shops, since the largest attraction in Key Largo is
John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. The clear waters off Key Largo draw divers and snorkelers from around the
world, and many of the accommodations in this area cater to them, with dive trips and shuttle services.
Middle Florida Keys, FL
Between Key Largo and Marathon, the center point of the Florida Keys, FL, there is Islamorada. They call
themselves the Sportfishing Capital of the World. Indeed, the backcountry waters here are rich with marine life
and the fishing guides are experts at seeking them out for catch and release fishing.
Marathon has a great public beach and it marks the start of the Seven Mile Bridge. This famous bridge is one
of the most visibly recognizable structures in the Florida Keys. Driving across the Seven Mile Bridge is a

Lower Florida Keys, FL
Once you cross the Seven Mile Bridge going west you will see a remarkable difference in your surroundings. The
population has thinned out and the flora is more abundant. It's a little bit closer to nature out here, with
fewer people making the entire distance out to the lower Keys, as this end of the chain of islands is called.
Big Pine Key is full of pine trees and trails. Onward to Key West there are numerous Keys that offer all sorts
of opportunities to explore the region and its wildlife.
Finally, in Key West, there is the greatest variety of everything, from places to stay to things to do.
Choose from guest houses, vacation rentals, condos, or hotels on the beach. Take a ghost tour or go offshore
fishing. Tour the galleries or go parasailing. There's all this plus endless choices for fine dining and
casual dining, and more. There's history to learn, a rather strong artists' community, loads of preserved
